This one-of-a-kind art banner celebrates coming out and radical queerness and was inspired by the breakout hit Heated Rivalry HBO TV show, specifically Scott & Kip's love story in episode three and Elena's advice to Scott Hunter: "He deserves sunshine, and so do you." 

Type and illustration designed by Kait for this piece and embroidered on her vintage hand-steered chainstitch embroidery machine using 100% cotton thread. Final banner is cut, sewn, and constructed by Kait with hand-hammered grommets and is made to order [approx. 6-8 weeks turnaround time] 

Shipping as well as local Chattanooga pickup from Kait's studio inside Clearstory Arts is offered.

Care/Cleaning: This banner is made from wool & acrylic blend felt and over time the felt can frizz up a bit in areas. I find that using a sweater shaver (like this one) gently on the banner while it's laying on a flat surface is helpful to remove these fuzzy bits if they bother you, carefully avoiding the embroidered area. You may find a tide pen & dabbing with a cotton cloth is effective for small stains, but for larger areas of dirt or stains, dry clean only. Light ironing or steaming is fine, careful not to press down on the embroidered area.

Shipping

I offer shipping options from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. I only ship out items twice a week: on Saturdays and Wednesdays (barring any federal holidays). Please refer to each item's listed turnaround time for questions about order timing, and please allow for more shipping time during these unprecedented times.

Returns/Exchanges

Bottom line: I do not accept returns, but I do allow exchanges on some items. Many of my items are one-of-a-kind or personalized in some way, so offering open-ended returns is just not manageable for me.
