Refund policy
Bottom line: I do not accept returns, but I do allow exchanges on some items. Many of my items are one-of-a-kind or personalized in some way, so offering open-ended returns is just not manageable for me. If you are ultimately unhappy with your purchase or customization, please email me (help@kaitmakes.com) and I'll do everything I can do make it right.
We have a 30-day exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an exchange.
To start an exchange, you can contact us at help@kaitmakes.com. If your exchange is accepted, I'll send you the return address as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

Damages and Shipping Issues
If your item(s) arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please email: help@kaitmakes.com and I'll do my best to work something out with you. Due to lots of structural issues, USPS is not quite as reliable as they used to be. If you're worried about this, I recommend either picking up your order from my studio or choosing another shipping vendor at checkout. Ultimately I cannot control USPS and if your order never arrives I will do what I can, but may not always be able to just ship out another item, as much of what I do is custom and made-to-order. Thank you for your understanding.
Exceptions / non-exchangeable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged, like:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
- Items marked "final sale"
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards
Refunds
Refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
