The Moth Original Chainstitch Panel
Created specially for Art To Die For, now in exhibit at Clearstory Arts! The Moth is an original chainstitched canvas art piece stretched over a handmade coffin-shaped wooden panel by local woodworker Phil Timm.
Want the look of a chainstitched patch or jacket in your home but not sure how to make it work. Chainstitched canvases are the perfect way to add some texture to a wall or shelf! Easy to hang or lean, this piece has a built in wire for easy and secure hanging.
Each canvas is hand cranked chainstitched by yours truly on my Consew 104-1T—a combination of chainstitch and moss stitch on raw canvas—and then stretched over a wooden frame and secured.
NOTE: This piece is currently hanging in Clearstory Arts Halloween Exhibit, Art To Die For until November 5. Pickup or shipping of purchased items will occur after this date. Thank you!
I offer shipping options from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. I only ship out items twice a week: on Saturdays and Wednesdays (barring any federal holidays). Please refer to each item's listed turnaround time for questions about order timing, and please allow for more shipping time during these unprecedented times.
The address you enter at checkout is the address I will use to ship your item to.
Bottom line: I do not accept returns, but I do allow exchanges on some items. Many of my items are one-of-a-kind or personalized in some way, so offering open-ended returns is just not manageable for me. If you are ultimately unhappy with your purchase or customization, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I'll do everything I can do make it right.
