Meander Chainstitched Tees
This meander pattern originated (from what I can tell) with quilters as a way to decorate their quilting and sew the fabric and interior batting together. On chainstitch it’s a little bit of a different look but many chainstitchers do similar free form patterns to practice steering and free-handing. I really love the look of the meander on a pocket tee, I hope you do too!
You're buying a 100% one-of-a-kind garment, as each item is a thrift-store rescue with hand-cranked chainstitch embroidery added! Sizing included in the variant.
Something that's so close to my heart is upcycling and transforming garments to ultimately keep more excess waste out of landfills. I'm always out thrifting anyway so when I find garments like this that are just begging for some personality, I'm here to help!
care instructions: dry clean preferred; hand wash or delicate wash inside out on cold, lay flat to dry.
returns: no returns or exchanges are offered on artist collaborations. If you need more measurements of the piece or would like to visit the studio for a try on, contact me!
Love this design but not your size? Submit a request for a custom order! I can source apparel for you or stitch on an item you bring to me.
I offer shipping options from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. I only ship out items twice a week: on Saturdays and Wednesdays (barring any federal holidays). Please refer to each item's listed turnaround time for questions about order timing, and please allow for more shipping time during these unprecedented times.
The address you enter at checkout is the address I will use to ship your item to.
Bottom line: I do not accept returns, but I do allow exchanges on some items. Many of my items are one-of-a-kind or personalized in some way, so offering open-ended returns is just not manageable for me. If you are ultimately unhappy with your purchase or customization, please email me (email@example.com) and I'll do everything I can do make it right.
